Doodling Workshop: "Discover Your Secret Garden"
Have you been feeling out of touch with yourself lately?

And how about learning some simple drawing tools and having fun in the process?
Within you there is a world waiting to be experienced, explored and expressed.
A secret garden where your creativity, imagination and love resides, a world known only to you.
Come experience, explore and express your secret garden and have fun through this doodling workshop guided by professional artist MaryAnn Loo (@PenguinGirl_Art). Create your very own Secret Garden artwork that expresses who your creativity and your imagination, while learning some basic drawing tools that can enhance your visual language!
What you will learn:
Session 1: Garden Growth (2.00 -- 3.45pm)
Learn how to create flowers, leaves, vines in many different ways!
How to put all of these together into one picture -- your very own Secret Garden!
Session 2: Garden Residents (4.00 - 5.45pm)
Learn how to create cute characters, animals and other garden residents -- bees, butterflies and more!
Learn how to create other things for your garden - watering cans, houses, fences, and anything else you want to put in there!
This is a 2-part series in one afternoon, so sign up for either session and start expressing your inner world today!
About the Instructor:
MaryAnn is a professional artist from Singapore, who curated her first solo exhibition in 2013, and her first group exhibition in 2014. Since then she has sold over 100 artworks, illustrated 4 children's books and over 150 portraits, and painted 5 murals. She was commissioned to create an installation at the NOISE Arts Festival last year, and is currently working on her second solo and group exhibitions. MaryAnn is passionate about bringing people together to have fun and explore their creative side through engaging activities such as her Thursday doodling workshops and other drawing events. She loves penguins and chocolate and absolutely dislikes ketchup.

Session 1 (Garden Growth): 2.00pm to 3.45pm
Session 2 (Garden Residents): 4.00pm to 5.45pm
1 session: $35 per pax ($60 for 2 pax))
2 sessions: $60 per pax ($110 for 2 pax)
Fees include 1 sketchbook + 1 pen per pax, light refreshments
All art materials are provided (color pencils, markers, pencils), but feel free to bring your own.
